William Henry

William B. Henry is the founder of Be Better World, an anti-bullying campaign geared towards empowering youth to deal with the symptoms of bullying before it becomes a serious issue. His stance takes a different approach as he calls on the parental unit to be a part of the solution. Be Better has gained National attention and his motto is “We All Play A Role”.

William is also the owner of Big Sky Ballin’, a sports organization responsible for putting on one of the largest 3 on 3 outdoor basketball tournaments in the Northwest Region, Above the Rim, which is now in its 7th year. Along with Above the Rim, Big Sky Ballin’ also runs several youth sports leagues and tournaments throughout the year.

Before devoting most of his time to Be Better and Big Sky Ballin’, William served as a Vice President for a billion dollar not for profit organization. He obtained his Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Florida and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. William has spoken at several local and national conferences.

In addition to founding Be Better, William spends time mentoring youth and he takes pride in making a genuine difference in their lives. William lives in Billings, Montana with his lovely wife, Yolawnda, and his outgoing daughter, Bria.

A native of Lewistown, MT, Chrissy Pratt has been an animal trainer and behaviorist for 18 years. She has worked with a variety of animals, and has consulted with elephant organizations all over the world, including  Save Elephant Foundation,  Boon Lott’s Elephant Sanctuary, and Burm and Emily’s Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand; Wild is Life/Zimbabwe Elephant Nursery in Zimbabwe; Tiger Tops Elephant Camp and Stand Up 4 Elephants in Nepal;  Pakke Tiger Reserve in India; and Life in Oozie Village Ecohut/Myanmar Timber Enterprise in Myanmar.

Chrissy is passionate about all animals, fascinated by their behavior, and deeply committed to their conservation. Chrissy began her career working with animals as a volunteer at the New York Aquarium in 2002, where she became passionate about operant conditioning and positive reinforcement training, and how this helps improve the lives of animals living in captivity. This led to a career working with marine mammals at Sea Life Park Hawaii, The Mirage Dolphin Habitat in Las Vegas, and dolphin assisted therapy at Onmega Dolphin Therapy Marmaris in Turkey. During this time her curiosity about all animals persisted, motivating her to volunteer with primates at the Honolulu Zoo and learn about prey animal psychology and Natural Horsemanship at Horse Sense of the Carolinas in Marshall, North Carolina.

Throughout the course of Chrissy’s career as a marine mammal trainer, her feelings about animals in captivity for the purposes of entertainment evolved. She began to look towards applying her skills in a way that would promote conservation, rescue, rehabilitation, and finding creative ways for humans and animals to work together in a manner that benefits both…not just humans. She learned about managing elephants in protected contact and utilizing positive reinforcement training as an Animal Care Specialist at Busch Gardens Tampa. Her interest in rescue and rehabilitation was also fostered in Tampa, FL, where she volunteered  with local animal rescue organizations. Her desire to share ideas and knowledge to improve the lives of  elephants working in developing countries brought her to Thailand in 2013, where her career as a consultant began. When she is not  teaching positive reinforcement training techniques and ways to improve elephant welfare, Chrissy likes to spend her time learning about other cultures and ‘jungle’  ways of life.

Suzann Lankford

Suzann Lankford, Co-Founder of Moochdocker! In her own words…

“My career has been characterized by the integration of professionalism and creativity. My experience in the fields of marketing, graphic design, and entrepreneurship have led me to be a part of a number of exciting ventures, and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences at TedX Billings. My marketing background includes my time as a marketing manager for Yellowstone national park, where I led a project that doubled income per room at lodging facilities and created new, immersive vacation packages for the park. I have also had the opportunity to work with the Billings Clinic, where I was responsible for developing marketing campaigns for community outreach, budget optimization, and growing the clinic’s brand awareness.”
“My current role as a Co-Founder of Moochdocker was created through a combination of my passion for travel and my professional experience. Shortly after entering the RV travel space as a wide-eyed new RV owner, I quickly became aware of a void in the market that needed to be served. The outdated, inefficient booking methods of the RV industry stifled some of the free-roaming excitement that came with my new purchase, as many places to park my new toy were wait-listed for months and had miserable booking processes. I immediately felt a calling to address the need for a more liberating travel experience and allow people to go their own way with their RVs. Moochdocker was born when I began the process of creating a peer-to-peer RV network that allows RV users to stay on private properties across the country, and experience a greater supply of campgrounds and unique experiences. I now apply my skill sets in marketing and content creation to grow Moochdocker into the face of experiential alternative travel.”

Zach Terakedis

Zack Terakedis

Zack has spent his career developing communities and their capacity for leadership across the social and private sector. With degrees in Psychology and Speech Communications, he discovered early on that helping people develop their personal leadership story was an exciting prospect for work.
He began his career in youth development managing nationwide programs for Eckerd Drug Stores and Coca-Cola. Moving boardroom leadership concepts into curriculum and program models became an expertise that Zack developed through the years of managing the large programs. After years of teaching these concepts, he had to apply the skills in management roles for companies, private foundations and eventually an entrepreneurial project.
Moving back to Montana, Zack began to look for a creative outlet for his learning. As a son of an artist, he had been in and out of the art and art gallery businesses helping his father. Arriving in Billings, a city with a rich art history, he found space for a new art gallery. This venture allowed he and his family to participate in the community bringing fine art to the public, engage with local organizations through events, and learn about the local creative scene.
Zack has worked locally with the Billings Artwalk, Montana International Film Festival, Yellowstone Art Museum, Billings Symphony and the Billings Cultural Partners in a variety of creative capacities. He hopes that the creative community will help Billings, MT articulate its assets in a meaningful way.
He currently serves as the Coordinator of the Billings Industrial Revitalization District.
